About this place
Bindusagar (Ocean of the Sacred Drop) is a sacred tank measuring 1,300 feet long × 700 feet wide. Legend holds that water from every sacred river and tank in India was poured here. The 21-day Chandan Yatra festival sees deities from nearby temples taken on ceremonial boat processions. Over 100 temples and shrines surround the tank.
