The Hirapur Chausath Yogini Temple (9th century CE) is the only active 64-Yogini temple among the four surviving in India. Built by Queen Hiradevi of the Bhauma dynasty, this circular open-air sandstone shrine is just 30 feet in diameter and 8 feet high. The inner walls hold 60 niches with finely carved Yogini sculptures.
