Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri is a sacred 12th-century Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Jagannath (a form of Vishnu/Krishna), his elder brother Balabhadra, and sister Subhadra. Built by King Anantavarman Chodaganga Deva of the Eastern Ganga dynasty, the temple is one of the four holiest pilgrimage sites (Char Dham) in Hinduism.
One of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites; home to the annual Rath Yatra; features the world's largest kitchen.
