Rengali Dam
Rengali, Angul
About this place
Rengali Dam is a major water engineering project built across the Brahmani River in Angul district. The dam creates a vast water reservoir that appears as a 'giant blue wall' reaching toward clouds when viewed from certain vantage points. The massive scale of the water body and surrounding landscape creates a dramatic natural-engineered aesthetic. The dam provides irrigation support for vast agricultural areas.
