Matengeswar Temple is an ancient Shiva temple located in Boudh town, famous for its unique eight-rayed star (stellate) ground plan. Constructed in the 8th century CE during the Bhanja dynasty, it is one of the three prominent Shiva temples (collectively known as the Tini-Sambhu) situated within the Rameswar temple compound on the Mahanadi riverbank.
