Satkosia Gorge is one of India's most enchanting natural wonders, featuring a 22-kilometer-long canyon carved by the Mahanadi River as it flows through dramatic hills and rocky terrain. The site has been designated as a Tiger Reserve, hosting significant tiger population and numerous other wildlife species including crocodiles, elephants, deer, and sambar. A Gharial crocodile sanctuary has been established within the gorge.
