Maa Tarini Temple at Ghatagaon is one of the most significant pilgrimage sites in Odisha, located approximately 45 km from Keonjhar town. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Tarini, revered for mercy and benevolence. The most distinctive feature is the coconut offering tradition—Maa Tarini's favorite prasad. The temple hosts the tallest Ratha Yatra (chariot festival) chariot in all of Odisha, a major religious spectacle.
