Gopalpur Beach is a 4-kilometre stretch of pale golden sand on the Bay of Bengal in Ganjam district, 16 kilometres from Berhampur (Brahmapur) and 173 kilometres from Bhubaneswar. The beach is framed by casuarina and coconut groves and faces a relatively calm section of the bay.
