Doluri River

Daringbadi block, Berhampur4.3

About this place

A clear, shallow forest stream in the Eastern Ghats near Daringbadi, Kandhamal district. The Doluri rises in the hills above Daringbadi and threads through coffee-plantation slopes, pine groves and sal forest before joining the Salki river. The roadside picnic stretch is a smooth bedrock channel where the water runs ankle-deep over polished stone — popular with families for foot-dipping, photography, and lazy afternoon picnics. Best in November to February when the air is crisp and the water clear; avoid the monsoon when flash spates are possible.
