Maa Bhattarika Temple is a revered Shakti shrine located at Sasanga village in the Badamba block of Cuttack. Situated right on the rocky bank of the Mahanadi River, the temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhattarika (Durga). The temple is surrounded by the Mahanadi river on one side and green hills on the other, offering a scenic landscape. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Parasurama meditated here to seek the blessings of the Goddess.
