Nabarangpur Deer Park is a managed wildlife recreational facility established approximately 30 years ago, located 10 kilometers from Nabarangpur town. The park houses a population of 130 chital (spotted deer, Axis axis), of which 63 are females — indicating a healthy breeding sex ratio. Chital are the most visually striking of India's deer species, featuring white-spotted fawn coats and, in males, elegant multi-tined antlers.
