Daringbadi (19°54'N 84°07'E), known as the 'Kashmir of Odisha', is a hill station in Kandhamal district at an elevation of 915 m (3,002 ft). The only place in Odisha where snowfall is occasionally recorded in winter. Features coffee plantations, pine forests, valleys, turmeric gardens, and tribal communities. Named after British officer 'Daring Saheb'.
