About this festival
State tribal exhibition spotlighting Odisha's 62 Scheduled Tribes (Dongria Kondh, Bonda, Juang, Saora, Munda, Santal and others). An 11-day fair with live tribal dance every evening, terracotta and dhokra demos, tribal cuisine, self-help-group craft stalls and an exhibition pavilion. The 2026 edition drew over 10 lakh visitors.
Traveller tip
Tribal cuisine pavilion is the standout — try Mandia jau, pakhala bhat, jhili pitha. Evenings have live tribal dance.
